I've looked through the threads on LED bulbs so think I know what I'll fit .
My question is do they use lower power (watts) as I'll be fitting 2 and want to make sure they don't over load the alternator as 2 ate bulbs will draw 120 watts on high beam and I don't think the bike will like that especially in the winter with heated grips ECT running.

Yes typically much lower than incandescent bulbs - you shouldn't have any problems.
Much lower draw Seth, so less load on the alternator. To be honest if you fit 2 H4 LED bulbs you will draw less current in total than the one incandesent fitted as standard.
If you want to check what spare capacity you have, this article may help

Thanks for the info chaps it's what I thought but always better to check with others just to confirm things
Hi Seth
Please can you advise which bulbs you opted for.
Many Thanks

It's for my twin headlight fairing that I'll be fitting soon.
I'll post what I buy and results here as will us in the bike before I mod it .
