Well.... I've reached 49 today. Feeling glum and old so what better way to cheer myself up than opening the wallet of Stoli for a round of drinks....

I went to a family reunion yesterday as some family were visiting from UK. There was 1 generation above me and 2 below...it wasn't always like that. :sad:

I remember my 50th, 12 yrs gone now. We went to pub, then back to my house. Drank till 6am. Had brekky and all of us off to golf. Was a long tough day.

In Wales you get free bus travel when you reach 60 and a third off rail travel :)
I get 1/3 of rail travel with my over 50 club card (costs £30 a year ).
At the moment i get anywhere return in Scotland for £17 .
I'll have to be 67 for my work and state pensions tho :facepalm:

I'm too young to know for sure but I think it's just a bit of discount like your gold card.
