When using chrome on a desktop i experience a error trying to log on to the ORG.
I have used paint to show my problem.
- is it something i can do to resolve this?
it's ok via my phone as thats how i usually access the forum :onya:
i too usually use my phone to access the org but that is currently getting software updates ;)
hence my question.
thanks for the reply btw :)
I have this problem, using chromium. This was already before
@VladTepes updated the forum.
The error message is "Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in then try again."
Only happens when the browser has been started/restarted. I use the alternative login instead with no problem. When logging out and then, without shutting down the browser, everything works as it should.
Edit: Just tried with Firefox. No problem.
Just logged out then back in no problems on Chrome :whatever:
No problems here :onya:
:hat:
no problems at all when using my PC
However, I often get the same error message as Andre when trying to login using my iPad - second time it always goes in. Doesn't happen every time though.
I'd just assumed it was an Apple-thing (feature :confused1:)
@Blubber @VladTepes Found the cause of the "problem" (person writing this post :cool: ). I had chromium set up to clear all cookies on exit for the forum. Now I explicitly allow cookies of the forum to be kept.
Steps to change these Settings for chromium (chrome should be the same or similar): Settings, Advanced,
Privacy and Security, Content settings, Cookies, Clear on exit, click on the vertical 3 dots to the right of [*.]gsx1400owners.org, select remove, Scroll down to Allow, click on Add, type [*.]gsx1400owners.org click Add.
Thanks, i was just about to check my settings of my work PC.
That will give me enough pointers :onya:
No need for further replies; it is a local error ( ME )
Thanks.
@VladTepes Something strange that I am getting is a warning of a Network Attack from my Bullguard Anti Virus every time I log in to the forum.
If I click for more details and check the IP address it usually originates from Australia...Very strange!
all ok for me hopefully nothing serious :onya:
It's been happening to me for weeks now. My son who is in IT and computer security said that it's nothing to worry about..
No problems at all for me. I only use PC and the edge browser in win 10.
At a guess its probably because we have a number of URL links within the threads causing this - anti-virus programs don't like "clickable links", or rather they can't scan the other end of the link so flag up a potential error.
But we'll see what young Vladtepes has to say!!!
No problems here :salute:
@froudy Odd. I'll ask the web host if they have any ideas.
@VladTepes Thanks :onya:
I don't think it's anything to worry about..I'm just curious.
@froudy The reason for the alleged 'attacks' originating in Australia is because that is where the forum is hosted.
Have you whitelisted gsx1400owners.org in your antivirus software?
This will specifically tell your software that that is a safe site, and hopefully will fix your problems.

Thanks Vlad...I'll look into doing that :onya:
