Hello all, this is my first post here, not sure if Im in the right room. Its with great regret Ive reached a drastic stage of my life and dare I say... I want/need to sell my bike!! Im 60 this year and long term riding has taking its toll.
I'm looking for you guys to tell me realisticaly how much I can ask for my bike, 2007 GSX1400, no mods, under 5000, excellent condition,
Thanks in advance
Oops, under 5000 was supposed to read under 5000 miles on the clock
Hi there and welcome to the forum :onya: ..... sorry to hear your having to give up the bike and going on what you've said i would say your bike is in the £5500 to £6500 , thats going on similar bikes for sale on eBay with that milage and i dont think you will have any trouble selling it !
Good luck with the sale !!
its usual to go go the bar and introduce yourself
sorry to hear your selling your bike .
where are you ? uk , europe Australia , new Zealand or somewhere else !
the main thing is condition of it , colour and time of year.
i would say your a couple of months early for the best prices.
these bikes have started to become more desirable so prices hold up well.
so a few things to think about
tho I'm sure it will sell easily.
good luck
Im in the uk, the bit hanging on/off the left hand side as you look at the map! Thanks for advice, theres not a scratch on the bike, forks need a bit of polishing up. Got to be honest its the best bike Ive ever owned, but its got to go so not too bothered about hanging on to see if I can squeeze every penny out of a sale, Ive never sold anything on ebay, Ive heard they b*m rape you!
Do people still sell on mcn these days, how about Gumtree?
Best I pop into the bar and say Bore Da and get a round in.... uhm, where is it?
:useless:
get some pics up here as folk tend to look here first then advertise far and wide
Hi Woody.
Put it on Ebay as a "Classified" Ad. It's a fixed fee of £14.99..No other fees!
Pmsl.... theres a hidden message there... by the powers of suggestion I feel the urge to post a pic
I shall do both.... thanks guys....
If you had been more specific of your location in your intro post I would have said
"croeso"
North or south?( I am from the north originally )

When you post click on "Attachments and other options". Then you see "Attach:" and a button "Choose File". Click on that button and it will open up the "Open File" window of your computer. You browse/select the file you want and click the "open button".
To post more than 1 pic click on "(more attachments)" and repeat the process.
Testing..... did anything happen.?
Apparently it did.... woo hoo
1 of the last 14's
looking great 😎
Good buy for someone ( except for those from the dark side ) :smile2:
I'll post it in the for sale forum a bit later.....
I would offer a free delivery to Seth but In miles Paris is closer than Aberdeenshire
I really need to clean my bike now.
Thats a very tidy bike and a credit to its owner you will have no trouble moving it on ... Seth will be down on the weekend !
i wish
its very similar mileage and price to the red/black K5 but 3x14's is enough as no where to keep it without emma finding out
If she truly loved you she would let you have it..... how much could you get for Emma on Ebay.? I sold my first wife on Ebay, some geezer gave me 30 goats for her..... bargain.
I wouldn't be surprised if Emma snatches herself a nice low mileage 14 :happy1:
:clapping:
she loves her 14 just as it is :stir:
my emma was born in Glasgow :boogie:
Ehhmm. not going there where your use of emoticons is pulling me. Don't want us to get into trouble in case she is reading this :coffeescreen:
Well how pleased she would if she had another 14 for her Birthday.... she would probably give you one of her 'specail' cuddles... ;)
