BLACK is fastest.
Evidence follows:

BLUE & WHITE - slow.

BLACK. Fast.
Oh perhaps that's an isolated example you say? Choose two Suzukis you say?

Oh you want GSX1400's specifically? OK.

FAST
Well, here ends that argument.
What is that first blue & white one? a Hardly? Looks like grandma's curtains.
I know that's not you on the black 14 Mick, cause that guy is actually riding his. :stir:
And, because you Black owners are obviously colour blind. :whistling:
Your first bike pic is more of a Turquoise & white
and the second is a Blue & silver.
So, thank God you chose to own a black bike otherwise you would probably be riding around on a Pink & Purple that you think is a B&W :rofl2:
White reflects light so improves the Power to weight whilst black absorbs all the light making it heavier and slower.
So science says White is faster! :computer_type:
so how much does light weigh again? :whistling:

I'm not sure, I asked once but he just waved and took off in a straight line. 🤓
I reckon it's probably 1kg per lumen, 1 for 1, that's how these things usually work out. So what's daylight then? 7 - 8,000 lumens?
Well, I've weighed Cows Milk and I've weighed Light Milk and their about the same so I'm guessing a whole Light would weigh about a Heifferlump. :whatever:
Cool, agreed. Reckon I'm more of a full hefferlump meself, so that makes 1½ hefferlumps on me bike.
now your really starting to confuse the issue
hefferlumps are a measurement of time not weight :stir:
Awesome Seth!!
just one thing tho
the very fastest bikes on the planet are blue and white, orange and blue or red .
none are black :stir:
they do use black fairings ect when testing but add the colour when they want to go really fast when racing.
So by what you're saying, black is underneath carrying the bloody colours as well as the bike & rider. Yes?
they do have to cover up the black when racing or it would slow the bikes down to testing speeds due to all the light it was absorbing .
:stir:

??? A typo?
Looked it up in the Urban dictionary:
QuoteA lazy, fat woman usually being rude
Sounds more like a measurement of time AND weight. :whatever:
That first photo is of a bloody wedding cake !!
its definitely a measurement of time .
ref the scottish film from the 1980's
"gregory's girl"
when the photography kid goes to take pictures at the nurses home he measures the exposures in hefferlumps
so it must be true
Too many Hefferlumps in one place blots out the light from the sun and that's called an eclipse. If a wild angry Hefferlump should sit on you that's called "Good Night Nurse"
 :happy1: :rofl2: :rofl3:
Guys,
Rather than the bike itself, I think it's important to look at the quality of individual attracted to each colour, so below are a few examples:
Black:
Batman
Terminator
Kit (knight rider)
Bon Jovi
Blue and White
Andy Pandy
Pappa Smurf
Donald Duck
Her from Frozen
Woody Woodpecker
Drops mic..........
Very often I feel I'm Papa Smurf. Do I feel I'm Batman if I paint my 14 black?
My previous bike(GS 1000 G ) was black and it was slower than my blue/white 14 :whistling:
i cam remember when
andy pandy was in black and white dont riun my childhood.
pappa smuff is the man beats up a nasty wizard and was invented in belgium where they also invented beer.
her from frozen does magic and stuff and owns her own country.
woody woodpecker is funny
and donald duck is from the same studio that now makes star wars films
black stuff
a man who plays bats not even a proper super hero as just a spoilt rich kid.
terminator a robot that wants to kill us
kitt a talking car (it's a car)
by jovi a pop band from America (the british invented rock and heavy metal) bloody yanks coming over here steeling our music and making all the money from it.
Also you don't get:
Call of Duty Blue and White Ops"
Men In Blue & White
Blue and White Beauty
Blue & White hawk down
Creature from the Blue & White Lagoon
Meet Joe Blue & White
The Blue & White hole
Sorry, it's just not Hollywood guys but if you're happy with it that's fine

Light is energy. Black absorbs light. Therefore black absorbs energy. The only way to get rid of that energy is to go faster. Ergo black is faster. :boogie2:
Wait a minute. That can't be true, coz I know my B/W is fastest.
yes, black quite cool, but...
https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2008/december/dec3109-world-fastest-woman/
Well I think this is more the definitive answer.
Faster or not (not :stir:) you are 36% more likely to have an accident on a black bike than any other colour. Why? 'Cos it says so right here in this article....
https://rideapart.com/articles/what-the-color-of-your-motorcycle-says-about-you
in fact it says what every colour of a bike means.
Oh - and I found a picture of the development black GSX1400 from way back when. This one of the well known test rider, Havegotta Gettablueandwhiteone giving it the final test ride before releasing it to the general public :happy1: :rofl2: :rofl3:
No it doesn't say that at all. It says where a driver failed to see the bike n turned straight in front if them, involved 36% black bikes. Extrapolated, 64% of cases where a driver failed to see the bike were not black, so you're safer on a black than a coloured bike.
:rofl2: :happy1:  I love reading all the BS that goes on here all of a sudden, keep it up boys, as its good to have a laugh :onya:
And doesn't take into account the predominance of black bikes anyway... :furious:
Lies, damn lies - and statistics... :hat:
:whistling:
You blue and white mob clearly don't understand the meaning of DEFINITIVE :lol2:
Oh and the Belgains did NOT invent beer... The ancient Egyptians drank it...
Belgians didnt invent beer but they prefected it to what it is today.
:whistling:
It's all Nottys fault.

That's because you black mob can't accept the simple fact that blue and white is faster. Which is why Suzuki racing colours typically through the years have been blue and white :onya: :stir:

Tires and engine are Black, it's only a few Blue/White stickers that dress the real movers :whistling:
What color are the parts that make the 14 go? What color makes any bike go? Cut the engine, frame, suspension, wheels, etc into bits. What color is dominant?

BLACK of course :clapping:
Sorry Red but carbon deposits are not what makes the 14 go :rofl2:

As it's all your fault get your bike tuned, bolt on a blower, add some noz, paint it pink and stop all this nonsense about which colour is fastest. :stir:
Wasn't there a movie made about this?? Think it was called 'The Never Ending Story'
I've got one of each, so I come out a winner no matter what.
Maybe blue & white...

May be fast, but in black would be sure faster :rofl2:
has anyone had the balls to paint in lawson colours, that would be different, and probably the fastest ever
Well looking at it from a purely psychological point of view :whistling:... i would say that the black owner is more introvert making them go slower but the blue and white owner is more extrovert making them go faster :stir:
I don't think anyone could say Red is introverted by any stretch of the word!
Lol thanks Col ... I think!
I prefer the word 'understated' I like the Black but for me it has too much alloy so my mission was to eradicate that.
I like the Black and Red as well but again for me a little too much red and I prefer a darker/metallic 'anodised' kind of red as opposed to the 3020. This is also easier to match with accessories such as levers decals etc.
So rather than go completely Black, I've taken a deep breath and gone with a little Red thrown in as well 👍

that was filmed in light and dark grey .
:tumble:
i have tried to powder coat as much of the shiny bits on the 14 as i can due to living next to the sea and using them in the winter it helps keep them looking as good as i can get them while still doing the miles.
Like your reasoning Seth 👍
I'm now alloy free and the only chrome left is the middle part of the stanchion.
I've even done the shocks spindle and seat bracket Black now 😀
:onya:
