Title: French speed limit
Post by: lil4399 on Monday, 29 January 2018, 02:34 AM
Further to several threads about France reducing the rural speed limit from 90 kph to 80 kph, in true Gallic spirit all the car and bike clubs and associations have called "a day of action" (though in reality it's an afternoon)

So February 10th with will see mass demonstrations across the country. Expect motorways to be brought to a standstill  (motorcycle clubs favourite) and cities to have slow drive throughs finishing at the Marie.  . (Administration centre and office of the Mayor)

I will be attending my nearest city Gueret, (by bike if the weather is good) so will get some pictures.

Vive la France!  :clapping:

Have to admire the French - if they don't like something they block the roads or the ports so people take notice. In the UK we form comittees and spend years moaning about something ! Lol :rofl2:

And in Germany we do ... NOTHING

Oh wait, we reelect the same imbeciles whose actions we don't like  :furious:

It should have been introduced in January 2018, but as everyone kicked off so it was delayed and now we are working towards a complete cancelling.
