Title: Cleaned the stable today
Post by: KiwiCol on Saturday, 27 January 2018, 11:51 AM
Thought it was about time I gave the bikes a good clean.  The 3 of them got washed, dried & a bit of polish.

Had a short ride on the Black without all the frills, I actually like it like that.

& @Red Biker , have you ever noticed how nice the blue paint is just after a polish? Lots of sparkly bits that catch the sun, really nice don't ya think?  .

Dont make the Fairlane jealous  :onya:

The Fairlane got a wee wash, I've got the battery out of it charging it up.  Poor thing hardly gets used & the built in alarm / immobilser drains the battery.

Anyone want a 5L V8 Fairlane? 2 owner 200 odd k.  Free post to UK & Aussie!

Err no! sparkle is for tutu's and dolls
👙👠👛

Having said that though I will be adding sparkle to my new silky Black with the wheels! So sometimes it is ok 👍

I'm only winding you Red. Love my black.    Today, after fitting up the headlight & indicators yesterday, going round the block (without plates) it felt like a different animal than it was. Reckon I could get used to riding it as a striped down naked, just a different type of ride without all the touring gear on. There'd be a wee bit of work to do to, but not bad.   Still deciding, no rush.   For the parts I've recovered off it, it owes me nothing, yet is still good.

BTW, I'm good on the decal, I'll leave it for KF.

Once you go Black you never go back!

Lol nice to have the options Col, as you say no rush it is what it is, naked cruising would suit you I reckon 👍

Mine is waiting to be cleaned as well. I still have to warm up a little after 1 1/2 hours riding in sunshine by 5°. Temps will be rising again as the next storm is rolling in  :frustrated:

Speaking of "sparkly" a young lady went a music festival recently and decided she would go topless with only glitter applied to her nipples. She was most shocked that a young lad should dare to have a feel.......
The judge is going to decide if he should have ??
Going to a music festival myself today........ wonder if sparkly miss tata's will be there  lol.

AAAAAARRGHHH - I was just about to take the bike or a run and it suddenly starts raining !!!!

Hasn't rained for a week or so at least, and not this heavy for a while.

But with a freshly cleaned bike, and a brand new tyre - no thanks.

Don't worry,  temps will go down again in time for Karneval here so the half-naked won't strip down all the way.  Some will do anyway  :rofl2:

Austrians don't seem to go as daft during Karnival.... I remember being in Düsseldorf a few years ago during karnival.... OMG!  3 days of complete drunkenness and crazy behaviour by the locals, seemed to me that they store this up for the whole year and release it all at one shot!

It's a Rhineland thing. That's where I live. During these days I stay inside my home. Definitely not going to ride then, as way to many drunks running across and on the road.

Will be interesting to see how the batch of new arrivals (the burka kind) will deal with that. :coffeescreen:

If somebody had read the damn instructions she would'nt have been over inflated. I hate to imagine where else this oversight may have presented itself.....
