I just found some interesting youtube video to show how the GI operated ,

does anyone done this before?  I just want to understand the theory that how the LED`s schematic.

You need to PM Thommohawk as he has done these conversions, both the LED backlighting to a different colour and gear indicator for a number of years for forum members both in the UK and down under

This is my testing, almost 2 years ago... had idea to built gear and temperature indicator in one unit... I use arduino for controller module.




because, I did not find stealth way to install display, I end up with just gear indicator with automatic brightness ajustment regulated by outside light, keeping oil temperature indicator in mind for future... :)



P.S. inspired by Thommohawk  :notworthy: (even idea to purchase 14 start from Thommohawk  youtube video about his gear indicator).
