Title: Q-tips...
Post by: Basil Brush on Saturday, 04 February 2017, 03:29 AM
Went shopping with Mrs Brush today.

When we reached the women hygiene aisle. I asked if I could get some Q-tips. She's thinking - hmmm he's getting a little particular about his appearance. What's going on with him...?

Got the tank off at the moment. Them little grooves in the head? Talk about perfect for cleaning them out. They must have been made for the job. :notworthy:

You should have got some make up remover pads as well Brian, they are great for applying polish for getting in those "hard to get at places" plus you can't put too much polish on them (as I've said before with polish little and often)

Electric toothbrushes and Solvol are excellent for polishing the inside of stainless Allen screw heads, top tip here is don't put it back in the bathroom without telling your other half ;)

Top Tip for new riders:

   I've found using baby wet wipes (for those inevitable wee dribbles) from the exhaust, a godsend! Even when riding , when I stop, I'll just check the outlet, & if there's any muck round the exit hole, out with the baby wipes from under the seat (great place to keep them & the talc too) & wipe it clean!  Quick dust with talc & she's all set again.     :worshippy:
