I'm trying to sort out the many photo's I've taken over the years & came across this one. Taken at the Tumut Pond dam from the Saturday ride at MCR 5. Not only where are they now but who were they then on the old org? Org name in brackets.
Just thought it might bring back a few memories.
L to R:- Michael (?), Chris (?), no idea (?), Nick Dunn (not on the org), John (bellie45), Ross (old fella), Darryl (Aussie gruntmaster), Dean (Deano).
I remember that day youse where waiting for me at the bottom of the hill.
Is it Yoshi John!
Deano lives not far from me call over occasional he hasn't been out for over a year on bike.
I havn't run into Old Fella for a while sometimes between Kulnura and Broke.
Will have to give big John from Canberra a phone call see how he is going he was setting up a business.
That's the one Jeff ... red, yellow & black 14 with JON number plate. John from Canberra was Bielie45 but I can't think what Michael & Chris's org names are. You must remember Michael ... he's the only one the cop could catch when chasing to you & Deano. He only needed to go to the servo where you were filling the 14 with diesel.
Chris was Aussie Torque! Can't remember Michael name on org he then had the Busa, if I remember rightly I wasn't there that day (Saturday ride ) I smashed my rear wheel about 50 k's out of Jindy.
I put the diesel in to slow down lol.
It was apparently the worlds fastest Busa too Jeff with all the electronic aids you could buy. Shame he couldn't ride it.
Ah yes ... the wheels.
Michael - Blue and White Flash lol
I still have those wheels.
Haha, blue and white flash was me. Sold the busa and now ride an m109.
I remember that incident with the cop, I rode the National Park the week before and it was packed with highway patrol. I warned Deano and company about them being around the next week we rode and they didn't listen. Instead the cop got me cause I was hanging out the back knowing they were around. He tried to get me for 30km/h over the limit and other stuff which wasn't true.
Busa came to a sad end when I hit a Goanna coming around a bend and did in some bones for a while.
Pete what year was the photo at Jindy taken?
Jamdonut .... that's an interesting one Michael. Good to see you found us & welcome, although not on a 14 you're at least on a Suzuki. I'm going to start posting rides again and all are invited so keep an eye out.
Ah yes ... the day of the highway cop & the Irishman who thought a 1400 would run better on diesel. I remember you telling me the cop wasn't at all impressed at the speed a certain pair were riding.
Shame about the Busa, that was a beautiful bike and frighteningly fast.
MCR 5 at Jindabyne .... 2013 I think.
Jamdonut is the favorite food of those in my job, hence the name. Trying to behave these days after having a gsx1400 and a busa but I'm not doing well at it with the m109.
Good photo mate but I see the 14 you were up against is so far ahead that it's out of shot. :stir:
Sounds like it's the same job???
Hey I'm not biting Snapey. The last time I saw a GSX 1400 was at Picnic Point with groceries hanging off it and some old fella lookin like Benny Hill on it getting done by highway for going too slow in a school 40km/h zone. I can't say who it was and embarrass that person to all these forum members because you would be offended.
