Title: Great British Brakes Off
Post by: Red Biker on Saturday, 06 January 2018, 01:39 AM
I bought some of the 4 pots off Froudy recently, unfortunately they were the stock Gold colour which maybe ok for all you Blue & White
types but for us mens men, its just way to garish

You've probably all tried 'Brownies' well these are 'Blackies' fully stealthed out and I'm thinking they look good enough to eat  :smitten:

Just need to decide on the colour of bolts to use now, thinking shiny Black would look nice!

I tend to bake everything I paint - the wife has given up mentioning that Im doing it in the same over we prepare food in - 50 degrees for a few hours and paint is as heard as a whores heart

nice work Nige - if you mask around the decal with 2 layers of masking tape you can take a small file to get the lettering clean and then reclear - then back in the over for a few hours

They've come up a treat Red :onya:
Nice full set of stainless fittings now and you'll be rocking.
To get the lettering back on these radials for my Bandit, I just went over the raised section carefully with a diamond sanding block.

With the logo my plan is to pick it out with gloss top coat whilst everything else is Matt topcoat, keeps the stealth thing going 👍

As an expert of many things I am sure he sets a timer for the oven. Hard to keep track of time when staring at the decorations  :happy1:

You two will be pleased to know the tree came down last weekend, only took 4 hours 😜

Steak Pie went in right after the Calipers to mask the smell, I'll pretend to be asleep when she comes in😜
