Hi

I'm from Fife Scotland

I've just bought a 2006 GSX 1400 and my intention is to restore it. It needs a lot of work but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Very much hope to seek some guidance from the experienced members of the forum.

Thank you for your welcome. It is sad to see the bike in such a state but hopefully with time and patience I can restore it by the summer.

My first post will be to seek advice on used bike parts! The throttle body was seized after the bike being left in a garden for over a year and I'm going to need a replacement......so far no luck finding anyone with a used one for sale.

Welcome along Harper :onya:

Are the throttle bodies 100% past saving..Maybe a soak in WD40 or similar might get them moving again? Got to be worth a try.
