Good quality yokes and a good price too. I have similar on my Bandit.
He states "Any USD legs" Not quite true as they can be different diameters. He'll obviously make them correct size to order I guess.
same folk who made my thug yokes.
seams to be cheaper than mine were.
2 kinds pre k5 and k5 on as needs to mount the ariel for ignition immobiliser on later models .
they fit all standard parts clocks and handle bars
top quality kit
seth

Yep..
They are specific to the markets "Down Under"
;)
Well, they do come as standard fitting in the southern hemisphere, as ours are always upside down compared to you blokes.

Hi Col..
I am still sooo jealous of the superb roads and scenery you have in NZ
You are a lucky chap !
The bloody roads aren't that good Speedy, fecken shingle n crap has done me bike in. But with Notty's trainers fitted, I should be able to stay upright on the next one.
they can make them to fit any forks std way ip or upside down from any doner bike but one thing to remember is most upside down forks are to short so also need the forks extending too and youll need to work out wherl brakes and discs.
i will be using bking upside down forks extended by 75mm .bking radial calipers and mudguard with std gsx1400 wheel and discs.
That's a long extension Seth? You making a chopper? 3/4 of a metre longer will be interesting. :stir:
cheers change it now 75mm extension
maybe thats why my wife is rubbish at parking lol

That's not correct KiwiCol. For standard forks the yokes are not as chunky as the USD yokes.
I preferred the chunky USD ones and he drilled them to fit standard.
i think it looks awesome mate. wish i had some spare bucks. another note on my very long, i want list. i get there eventually.
Given there is some interesting and useful info here, I have slightly amended the title and stickied it so others may find it easier in the future.

Thank you. I wanted the chunky look to suit the bike. I got the billet top and bottom for same price Suzuki wanted just for one.
I'm pretty certain that I owe my life to the thug yoke set up on my Bandit. If it had standard yokes and forks I'm fairly sure that they would have snapped and I'd have gone splat. As it was they took the impact very well and bounced back off the car that "U" turned in front of me. The frame bent, but the forks although slightly bent held up.
In the photo's you can see how the steering stem bent though :imrgreen:
They are very very strong yokes.

Thanks for that taximan, they look fantastic on std forks. Well done. All the pic's I'd seen of these yolks said they were for USD forks, didn't realise they'd do the same style & drill them to fit std. Solid as a rock!
Well Notty, there ya go, another thing to add to your list, as well as Grog.

There is a technical term for the fork stem, starts with Fu and ends in ed

and has Calvin Klein in the middle :happy1:
Tell me about it being Fu-Calvin-Kleined...
I had a hell of a job to get it out as it was so badly bent :furious:
A sabre saw would of dealt to it in quick time Froudy - just sayin like. :stir: :whistling:

Think I used slitting disc in grinder, then Dremel and junior hacksaw. Being very careful not to damage the yokes as I was reusing them :onya:
Bought a gsx1400 from my mate this week and he had already done this conversion, i think it looks awesome and finishes the front off nicely
Nice bike but missing the chain Guard?
my exact thoughts Barmy.
Never liked the white wheels but with the white frame they look briliant.
I'm sure I've seen this bike before at the Scottish get together a couple of years ago .
very nice example indeed
i have a couple of spare chain guards if your looking give me a shout as I'm in Glasgow alot to visit family in partic .

Welcome along..That's John MacIvers ex bike isn't it :onya:
You got a cracker there for the money..He spent a fortune on it.
Yep its johns bike, ive always liked it and the chance arose to buy it, ive also got a gsxr1000 fitted with a cnc renthal fatbar conversion, its an animal and so easy to ride after the bar conversion
I knew/rode a 14 that had billet yokes, I couldn't tell any difference riding it to a normal one. Just bling then.
Appears to be consensus - just bling

They're for Upside Down forks Notty, they won't fit on the std ones.
Had them on mine for a couple of years now with standard fork legs. They are normally smaller for the standard leg but I requested the thicker ones for USD forks but machined for standard legs with the option of sendinging them back to be re-machined if I decided to do the USD conversion.
Only issue is with moving the bike round in the garage, the lock is very poor so a 3 point turn becomes about a 10 point turn but riding is not a problem.
:cheers:hi just seen this reply to my original post, what rear shocks are those?did they make much of a difference?
Thanks

Same here, preferred the standard forks as just spent a few quid on getting them refurbished and serviced so got him to make thug yokes for the standard legs with the option they could be re-machined to suit USD legs at a later date should I decide to go down that route.
