Came across this guy on fb, love everything about this👍
that's matts bikr he was on the old org a great guy
he made my a blubbers oil coolers and my first power conmander bracket .
he git to busy with work but I'm sure he still looks in from time to time .
Yep that's kanerdog's 14 for sure. Don't think he rides it much these days - always used to be innovating something for it though
Yes it's Mat, immaculate machine 😀
Nice bike. But does anybody know the function of that oversize oilcooler? Or is it just bling bling?
Just guessing here, it looks like the bike may be turbo equipped, oversize oil cooler to help with the additional engine temp?
Just 2c worth from down under
Certainly a good looking bike. Tastefully done. Love the cooler.
So, it obviously is bling bling, but looks great!
No it's not turbo'd just an ordinary 14 engine with an Akra exhaust.
The oil cooler Matt made himself and also sold a couple to others, it's what the guy does for a living (the company he works for tunes and custom makes tuning parts fir cars, notably Audi/VW) he made his own which was more efficient and robust than the standard Suzuki one. So not bling, but an improvement over the standard offering.
nice bike, obviously. really dont like oil cooler. terrible.
Beautiful looking bike, but I'm with Grog. Would even be better sprayed black, to blend in, if it had to stay. In my opinion.
the oil cooler is hand made by matt just better than standard but looks great too.
he made the extra large one for him just because he could
he would still make/suply to anyone who wanted one.
that 14 has lots of little mods to help maintain it as matt stripped the bike back to the frame most winters to ckean and refinish it.
its the one thing that was lost from the old org was his thread over many years show everything he did word by word and picture by picture
all good Seth, sounds like a 14 magician. all regards to him. oil cooler, i still dont like.
Some more images here, clearly has a an eye for detail and flair for tasteful mods👍
The giant oil cooler would be a bit much for riding in colder temps imo. At 6 to 10 degrees I rarely get to show 60 degrees on the oil thermometer, which I consider operating temp. And that takes some time and higher than usual revs.
I've met Kanerdog and seen the bike "In the flesh"...It's a cracker.
The only addition I would make would be a full USD front end with radial calipers.
