There is not very much to write. We have frozen roads and 8 to 10 inch of that white shit called snow. Boring

It does go quiet this time of year grog, did on the old forum if you remember, as with the weather starting to deteriorate in the UK and the nights starting to draw in, the chances of getting out for a quick blast around the lanes are getting less and less. Plus it can get a bit nippy (well if you have a naked 14 it can for sure!)

@ Grog,
tbh I'm ready for the 'off season' and have big plans for the bike which I'm looking forward to implimenting over the coming weeks.
I was thinking to myself last night, come Spring I dont think there will be a single part of the bike that has not been altered in some way from the engine to the dust caps!

Does this make me a bad person! can I be cured

Hi Kiwi,
Hard Knott Pass is in the Lake District, not Perth but plenty of top roads near Perth

Hi T,
After watching 'Blue Planet' recently, it's good to hear it's cold somewhere in the World  :onya:
Although agreed not great for riding the 14, do you have a snowmobile?

@Red Biker
Can you be cured? Yep. I was like that once Nigel.............then I bought a Triumph Explorer. Nothing to polish except the tank (which takes all of 10 minutes if I go slowly), as everything else is sealed and sorted to tackle all and every weather condition. Cleaning is simple. Jet wash! And all sparkling in less than 30 minutes!
So yes you can be cured, but you lose a hobby LOL. But at least then you can ride all year round without worrying about a bit of dirt on the bike  :onya:

Ye Gods!!!! Did I really just type that ????????

Nurse, Nurse !!!

Hi Dave,
I had to check to make sure your account had not been hacked after reading that!

My winter mods this year will leave my bike in a condition which will negate the need for any polishing whatsoever other than wheels which 'pardoxically' is my one concern!!

Polishing to some degree is very theraputic and my worry is I'll miss the intamacy and the satisfaction cleaning brings.

ps
can we get spell check on here!

Nope but I think Grammarly may do what you want. https://www.grammarly.com/
There are add-ons for various browsers too.
