Title: Blue/white paint schemes
Post by: Ultra mag on Friday, 20 October 2017, 12:19 AM
Hey guys,
I'm trying to find more info on the k8 and k8z blue/white colour schemes in Australia.
My ride is build 10/07, it seems to have the Special edition colour scheme but the tank colour seems to be k8 standard with the S symbol and not SUZUKI.
Front guard is white (Australia only) apparently?

May not be original
Any help or direction is much appreciated.

Just found this buried in a wrong thread elsewhere.
So I moved it here in case OP was still wondering.....

Not sure exactly what yours looks like (photo?) but here is mine which I believe is the Z version for comparison.

Says "Special Addition" on top of the tank. I dont have that blue S on my front guard, but that does look aftermarket anyway so must be an owner addition.
Black engine top covers are the main tell tale.

I've never paid much attention to it as it was on the bike when I got it, but I agree it's not a factory sticker.

Yeah, but black ones are for those who can't decide which of the faster colour ones to get Red don't you know  :stir:

i think I've said this before but here goes again

black is the fastest colour as everything was black before there was light to see any other colour . :stir:
so therefore black is faster than the speed of light  :stir:

but in the real world blue and white gsx1400's are fastest colour  :onya:

I've got a black, (well, when it comes back from the shop I will have) and I could do with a fast too.

So it would appear Blacks & fast just go together as natural as.

Blue & White = Attention seekers

As my Nan used to say 'a good bike should be heard and not seen' 🤘

That looks bloody lovely with the blue wheels it all comes together really well.
I'm not sure the missus will go for the "I need TWO 1400's because different colours" argument.
