Title: just so good
Post by: grog on Saturday, 04 November 2017, 07:35 PM
my bike been shutdown for a while, waiting on bits, paint etc. nearly 6 weeks. charged battery, gave button a push, sounds unreal. no rattles, clunks etc. ran and idled perfectly. clicked into gear and a 10 minute spin. just as i left it. so nice. other bikes in past, clutch stuck, wouldnt idle. gsx1100 and gs1000 were bad for clutch sticking. honda 4 also. ducati brakes used to not work for 10 minutes, rust on discs. even the clock on correct time. brilliant bike. sell it, never. it must amaze you new owners, mine did today. such a nice 10 min. ride. up again in morning for a decent flogging.

Wish l could say the same Grog........ l was horrified to find that when I checked tyre pressures last evening, I had to put a pound and a half in each one.

When I'm in the man cave I always put some bubble wrap down by way of an early warning system of wife approaching 😜
Just gives me time to hide any packaging!

i used to hide, these days. fingernails, hair dresser etc. i just keep those costs in back of mind. nothing for my bike is ever over 30 bucks, she never checks statements. fingernails are 50. no more arguments ever. any protest on cost, answer is easy, china stuff is very cheap but i put up with long freight time. falls for it everytime. just my way.

My wife knows what everything I have or buy costs.

She should do, she pays for most of it !

No complaints about mine..... she even says " we should go out on the scooter"

Did overhear a conversation she was having with her friend about making sure anything she wanted to get rid off was not sitting on top of the rubbish in the bin. Must be careful herstuff does'nt meet mystuff halfway down the bin.  :boogie2:
