I think he did lose the front end, but if he didn't, he would of been told to let Dovi through anyway.
It sucks for the individual, but they know what they are getting into when they sign a contract, so I am ok with it.

Didnt look like team orders to me. At one point they were trading fastest laps. Dovi had to win but Lorenzo had to stay on board and finish in front of Marquez. Lorenzo very nearly chucked it away. Dovi then pressed on to gap Lorenzo a little. As it turned out Ducati didnt have to make the call and Lorenzo didnt force them to.
Zarco had a great ride. Thought he did well late in the race when his tyre was going away.
Another really good race.  :clapping:

unfortunately its a team sport
so there going to happen weather openly or in secret
even if only 1 rider per team they happen as the manufacturers want to win championships.

I know Lorenzo almost lost the front but I believe that he would let Dovi past at the end. He would just ease on the strait and Dovi would take the win.
My gut feeling is that he was just too much in to it at that point to think about Dovi and championships. Remember how he crashed when he was leading in Misano because of that map change. This was also in the rain.
Any way at the end of the day MotoGP is still a team sport so for me personally this is a normal decision. he was't blocking or obstucting other driver-s  :whistling:
But I believe that it's all done and dusted for Dovi this year. Valencia is home ground for Marquez and to take the championship from him there is almost impossible but hey you never know.

I think it was a gentlemens agreement that who-ever was leading doesn't challenge the other. Lorenzo would have won if he hadn't nearly lost the front allowing Dovizioso to make a clean pass. I think Jorge wanted the win badly but chose not to push for the lead once he lost it.

Hi guys
I'm new to the forum and i would juzt like to leave an opinion on team orders..
i follow motogp since 1991 and back then there were no big problems about team orders..and they exist!
i think the difference is that back then manufacturers trusted their machines to gentlemans..with big balls!!nowadays they trust their prototypes to kids that learned to ride in playstation!!power of money..if you have a pretty face..you're there!my opinion is that they are too young to have maturity enough to deal with some situations!if it's a team you have to play it like one!when there's a championship to win..come on..you help your team mate..back then they knew what to do!
i remember scott russel and aaron slight on the kawasakis..donington park..sott was going for the championhip and aaron just park it to let him through..i bet scott gave him the n1 trophy!
so i think it's just a matter of maturity..it' s part of the game!
