Hi all,
After having joined the Facebook equivalent of the forum here, I thought I should properly introduce myself:
As some of you know, my name is Ingo (like Dingo without the D), am German, shy/quiet (unless I'm hungry), and can take the piss out of myself.
Example: why do they bury Germans 20 feet deep? Because deep down, Germans are actually quite nice!
Back to me; I ride the slower version of the GSX1400, a black one. My riding style is similar to the internet in Australia: slow and I crash a lot!
I had the great pleasure of being part of the Dorrigo team last weekend and am very pleased with how well behaved everyone was. No one drank, no one fucking swore (nor would I) and everyone was good looking. Okay, moving on;
In short, thanks for having me and for having the opportunity to have met such a funny bunch of people!
Good on ya's!

We Black riders do seem to have more character :stir
Maybe the colour is in our personality where it should be and not on our bikes??

If you've got a slow black bike, you will most likely find its been repainted...... probably B&W originally. :whistling:

I have to agree with everyone else Ingo, it is a great intro to this madhouse of a forum. You're a top bloke and fit in really well, unlike that Irish Git LOL :rofl3: :rofl3:
It was a great weekend despite the weather.
Made some great new friends and will be at the next Meet which Bov has already posted for 2018. :boogie: :boogie: :boogie2: :boogie2: :hat: :hat:

Yeah mate, Gruntmaster and I made it to Narrandera, where we parted and I finished off a strong 140km or so in 90min. It was my longest day ride ever with almost 1200km in one day!

Bienvenue!
Without sounding like a broken record - great intro and your bike looks great.
Do you have a colour picture so we can see the proper colour scheme of blue and white? :stir:

1200K is one hell of a good effort! Your roads may be a bit straighter & wider than ours, but 1200K is a cracking ride.
There is an event run over here called the "TT 2000" which is 2000k over 2 days. Google it. I'd love to do it, but would need gel inserts for the seat first. Done runs of 900 - 1000k, don't know how I'd handle doing it again the next day + more though.
