Don't do it! you'll get crap up your back every time it's damp & the underseat storage is never as big or waterproof afterwards.
Agree with Hooli
I converted my mudguard back to standard when I got my bike 3 weeks ago.
I will be converting my indicators back to standard very soon.
I have the rears...
Just waiting to spot a pair of decent fronts..
This sounds odd to me as having just had a week in the Scottish rain, I do have a tail tidy and no mudguard, but didn't experience and spray from the back! Must be good tyres :whatever:
Dry Red
looks good to me.

Or crap tyres that don't clear the water off the road...
You had luggage on right? that'll catch the spray pretty well too. Hence the lock on my topbox is always 1/2" deep in mud as the mudguard was trimmed on mine before I got it.
I still cringe at the thought of fitting smaller indicators. We are all different after all.
I fitted a set. Never happy. The 14 has a big frontal area, and an equally big arse end. 'Smartie' size indicators just appear lost to me. And it's the safety aspect. A mate was following me the other day, he could not believe how visible the OE indicators are. I changed lens for clear - and orange bulbs. Horses for courses and all that...
I still love my ermax indertray though...!

I can't get out to the shed at the moment due to my hip op.
I think I've got a pair of OEM front indies in there. I sold either the front's or the rears on here a while back to veemanzero..Can't bloody remember which one's for certain now
Message me in a few weeks time if you don't get sorted and I'll be able to get in there by then and have a look for you mate :onya:
PS. Sorry to hijack your post Moose..Bike looks very tidy mate :onya:

From the technical side led's have 4 x the lumens of standard bulbs so should be 4 x more visible. Both work fine in reality so down to personal taste, my view is smaller and more powerful is a good thing 👍
i love the standard indicators but hate the orange so i fitted these lenses

same as standard suzuki parts direct fit and just as easy to see in the real world.
Hi Seth,
Mine had those on when I bought it👍 But once you go down the tail tidy road,
my feeling is you have to go smaller otherwise they look a bit too big.
Red
look at other suzuki's buddy I'm sure some have smaller smoked indicators .
p.s. if you still have a set of lenses let me know what you want for them as I'm needing a set .
p.p.s.
sorry moose for hijacking your thread
your bike is very tidy

soz Seth I sold them on here a while back
I hate clear indicators, on both cars n bikes. Ginger bits should be ginger!
Clear indicators can be hard to see in bright sunlight.
not clear they are smoked a big difference on the bike and easy to see in all conditions.
Indicators should only be seen when indicating 🤘😀
Embrace your ginger!
love a ginger but not orange lights :rofl2:
Now with undertray. Sorry lads! Lol.
Nice - but be careful of the vertical number plate - could maybe do with being angled back a bit. Sorry but seen a couple of 14's who did similar and got down the road only for the rear tyre to hit the number plate with disastrous results (more to the damage to the bike than taking you off) as the rear suspension compressed over deep bumps or when 2 up.
Just check clearance is what I'm saying.
Already on it mate I'm fitting some plastic wedges tomorrow to angle the plate , not the best designed undertray if I'm honest.
My bike shop fitted a number plate bracket which the angle is adjustable and had built-in indicator mounts on it too as you can see in the picture
Welcome and I love the colour scheme on the bike :onya: 😎
Lovely looking bike mate and what a good idea that bracket is, I'm cheap lol and my plastic wedges now make the plate clear the tyre by 2.5 inches.
