Title: PC 111 required ?
Post by: Notty on Monday, 16 October 2017, 03:00 AM
I have a K5 with a dual oval fitted from new - I have recently bought a Yoshi Tri Oval - do I need a Power commander ?  :)

Not unless you've changed the downpipes, they are what matter most.

Having said that, K5 onwards tend to be lean from new so it's probably worth a power run just to know it's all ok.

as hooli said
if just an end can pc 111 is not required.
always worth a check on a dyno just to be sure .

I've run end cans on a couple of Busa's. Didn't remap.

I'm running end cans on a B-King. Didn't remap.

My GSX1400 has a full system, its been remapped with a PC111 and some dyno time.

Can's alone rarely need a remap and if you do, its no bad thing,
but in my opinion its only fine tuning.
