Hello there
The chrome on my exhaust has/is tainting/changing color through the entirety of the system....It appears its due to heat discoloration etc...I'm not the most prolific with my cleaning & was wondering if this will re-rejuvenate with some sort of polish?
Thanks in advance...
Adam
Would suggest Meguairs NXT All Metal Polish (given they are chrome), small amounts applied with something like a makeup remover pad (pinch some from the wife) and buffed off with a microfibre cloth. You can use Solvol Autosol, but that is slightly abrasive, so you would need to apply gently (Megs is not abrasive)
elbow grease. available for free where you live. i have multiple products, multiple pads, cloths etc. time spent is the answer. no free lunches they say, i agree. get stuck into it. youll like the results. mine gets devotion 3 or 4 times a year. ten yrs later, not a speck, by my standard only, i see others on here that put me to shame. only has to please one person, rules i live with. sorry to preach but it works. pics when done, looking fwd.

Hi Hlah,
I dont know the colour of your bike but using Black High temp paint may be an option, I did mine last winter and they've held up well and to clean them you just wipe with a damp cloth :onya:
Thats the fella Red get everyone's bikes slow but surely black :onya:
