felt more like 3.7 here today, wet and damn cold.
We are still 2 months away from Summer.
They had forecast 37C for today but that's been dropped to 35 now.
Just inland from us are still expected to get close to 39 degrees C today.
Well there goes the "won't be too hot when you visit Australia - about 24-25C" that my travel agent told me when we booked the trip down under......given its only 4 weeks until we arrive LOL
In NZ we dont have nasty snakes, spiders or crocs.
Dave..... its not too late !!

We had that heatwave a week ago in NSW Dave, but it's back down to a nice 24-27 now. Hopefully you might be lucky when you arrive, but also be prepared for sweating your nuts off
It should be perfect budgie smuggler weather for you :onya:
We have +6C = 43F now, this morning. I´m going to work by my 14.

Holy hell, do ya reckon the beaches are ready for that? A pasty white pom in budgie smugglers! :rofl2:
Mind you, he'd be a bright red pom in Budgie smugglers after ½ an hour!
Take no notice of us Dave, you wear your long shorts, your sandals & socks & a hanky tied in knots at each corner on your head, you'll fit right in, won't stand out a bit, everyone will be sure to think you're a local. Yeah Right!

Guessed it would be sweaty, especially when we are up Cairns way, but a lot warmer than the UK right now!

NZ scheduled for February 2019 :onya:
(Cash permitting of course LOL)
a cool 40 in landsborough today, still 32 at 7.20. 5 ks down the road was 5 degrees cooler. strange weather. i doubt youll get these temps Barmy, just a freak event. sitting here cooking, hoping for cooler. next weeks predictions are 15 less. down south is cool, 11 at my mates house in tassie.
If we could get 5 degrees cooler somewhere, roads would be very slippery...
We are not cold here, but are still on the rinse cycle.
