i found on my rear disc that it started to have surface micro cracks starting from the slotted holes in the disc at about 55000 miles with loads of thickness left on them.
replaced with a new standard disc .

Mine was down to 4.6mm at 52k miles, and looked fine, with no visible cracks.
I replaced it as Suzuki had an offer on OEM discs on Ebay earlier this year.

Just checked mine and all 3 are around 5.2mm (41,000km) so that's pretty good.
