the pull cable is hardest to fit and both very fiddly
i suggest you fit the throttle body ends first doing the twistgrip last

good luck

if you can it might be easier
i have pod filters so much easier
think you need to unbolt and move airbox back to remove the throttle bodies

leave the old cables on the bike so you can follow the routing for the replacements

New cables arrived today from robinsons foundry, removed throttle bodies to give better access, new cables were both the same colour, original had a goldish sleeve on one to help identify the correct cable into either push or pull, luckily I noticed and all went ok.

Thanks for the advice..
