ls1 WAY too heavy for a mini.

I really like the look of the new MX-5 but MORE POWER.

Problem solved...

I like the look of the Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ thing too.  But they are low powered things so again more power = better !

The MX5 is the Miata in the US.
Dropping V8's into them is quite common and has been around for many years.

Busa (B-King) is a quite popular choice for light cars.
Heaps been done.

One of the more interesting conversions is by Vetech.
They use their own bottom end that's more suitable for a car
and has a much needed reverse gear. Clever stuff.

My mate Mark used to make the bodywork for these.
One of my favourite Busa powered cars.
Proper giant killer, puts quite a few bikes to shame too.

We get the new 3.3ltr V6 twin turbo Kia stinger at work in the near future.

There's already feedback from folk from Jap "drifters" to test laps of the Nurberring, all coming back quite positive.

That XTR is pretty cool.

What I've seen of that Kia so far impresses me. Any idea what the retail on that 3.3ltr V6 twin turbo version will be?
I'll have a red one please.

We don't deal with the pricing so only what I've seen online.

Not cheap, but we have a huge amount of cars sat at work between $60,000 and $160,000 that sell well. Its just might be questionable if folk will pay that for a Korean car?

Or if you like water, give the Hayabusa powered Jet ski a try. Play the video on the link.

That's a wee bit quick aye!!  You'd have to be really hanging on with that.  I think that'd be faster acceleration than a bike could do. Bike would beat it for top end, but for a 1/4, reckon the ski would be faster.

Million Dollar idea.  A 'drag pool' next to a drag strip to do exactly such useful comparisons!
