Hi Folks,
Wonder if any of you can help with this one?
My battery went flat the other day (completely!) I ended up buying a new battery and fitted it along with an Oxford trickle charger.
When I was padlocking it up, I heard a ticking, like a watch coming from the front. Any ideas?
I wondering if it was a relay causing the problem with the battery going flat?
I'd be grateful for any help.
No relays I can think of at the front. Could be the clocks powering up n down, you get a click if the needles start their sweep & drop back as the power cuts again.
Unplug the reg/rec & see if it goes flat. You can get all sorts of odd things when a diode in that goes.
How hot were the headers? They can sometimes "tick" as they cool down
