Thought I'd inform you all, I turned of age on the 9th of July, took my module 1 and passed on the 10th and passed my module 2 yesterday!
Already insured the bike and had it out in a ride with my old man and his rocket III. Was an absolute blast and loved every minute!
Anyone got any first ride experience stories they wanna share! Would be an interesting read.
Thanks guys
:clapping: :clapping: :clapping::cheers: :cheers:
Congratulations!
Well done Jed :onya:
I crashed my first bike within a few minutes of buying it cos I had no training and thought I knew better, not much has changed except I haven't crashed in quite a while.
Congrats :salute: My first ride was a couple days before I turned 16 and would have gotten my driver's license handed out. Police stopped me on a non-public road. Didn't get fined though. The judge only asked me if I would do this again, to which I replied "no". A sure thing as I had my license :clapping:
Here a pic of my bike which I put together from 2. Legal? :imrgreen: Paint work didn't matter to me then, acceleration and speed was prime.
Congrats lotions
Hope you have many happy miles

Well done on passing your tests mate, what's all this module stuff? In my era all we had to do was ride around the block twice then the examiner jumped out at you for the emergency stop, here's me just before my test complete with my Ron Haslam t shirt,
Congratulations
@GSXJed So fare you straight onto a GSX1400? Here you have to graduate through various levels of shit before you can get a proper bike..
A 1400 is a large-ish bike for a first bike.
Very well done in the passing, as it seems to be getting harder these days :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
one of me not long after passing my test this photo taken at work.
about two minutes later
Bit of front brake was it Tug?
Workers' Compensation took care of you and the bike? :whistling:
Tug
Now you could sue the company for not have a safe place for you to be stupid on :whistling:
I reckon now you'd be done for not wearing a helmet or any safety gear at all, breaking traction in a prolonged manner, not riding on a designated road or carriage way, probably excessive speed in a built up area as well - and so on and so on. :jack:
Ah, the good ole days aye.
long time ago, was not the first off and was not the last, slow learner :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed:
Had you been inducted into the worksite, had you been notified of all the hazards, had all precautions been taken to ensure your safety ????
Hmmm....i thought not !!
