Acceleration hits a brick wall at 6-7000 rpm when riding. Revs freely in neutral.
Any ideas?
Does it with and without power commander.
Fuel pump checked, tank cleaned, filters changed.
Plugs changed, coils ok.
Blocked high pressure fuel filter.
^^ That.
Had it twice on mine now, I seem to block them every 50k or so. The filter is about £150 from Robinsons & easy to fit. Just smear the O-rings with rubber grease or you can crack the new filter fitting it & you really don't want to do that.

A better way to go & cheaper is an external filter ... http://gsx1400owners.org/forum_test/index.php?topic=590.0
I agree with the above
But if you want to try cleaning your filters - http://gsx1400owners.org/forum_test/index.php?topic=430.0
Tea Bag!
not tea bag, hi pressure filter. do the external mod.
Do you have this with your fuel tank full or with two or less boxes on clock..?
If you're sure it isn't the fuel pump or air filter I would start looking at exhaust system.
