are the gsx1400 and suzi bandit  oil pans samesize and  interchangable

i dont think anyone has ever tried .
but i doubt it as the air/oil cooled bandit is based on the early oil cooled gsxr1100's and the gsx1400 is based on the last of the oil cooled gsxr1100's

Nope, the 14 oil pan is totally unique to the 14. Have checked it with Robinsons Foundry

The Oilcooled Bandit 12 and GSXR1100 Slabsiders and Slingshots have quite a few interchangeable parts, even between the the smaller 750's and the early to late 11's and 12's.

The 14 on the whole is a stand alone motor. Not many parts seem to carry over from the smaller ones and its not based on any of them.  Almost all the 7 / 11 / 12's get used in engine swaps, the 14 is a physically bigger wider motor.

It's not out of the question that an external part like the sump may have been from an older model, but very few parts are.
