So, what are your thoughts on these then?

I am a huge fan of open face lids for several reasons, but i would love to try one of these.

they say tyres and chains are can of worms. thats true. helmets even bigger can, so many personal choices, im not going there. certainl a different approach the Voss.

These (or something very similar) were used in F1 many years ago but didn't last long.

I'd wait and see if any problems surface with them first. I don't think I'd go for one but I do wonder how easy would it be to get a quick look over your shoulder? It did strike me as well that if the catch mechanism got jammed up how would you ever get it off your head? At least with a chinstrap although it's very rare if the catch does get jammed up you only have to cut the strap  ;)

Reminds me of the helmet that Antman wore in the Disney movie of the same name (yes I know, poor taste in films, but sometimes you just need to watch dross  :lol:)
