My 1400 Hunner. 8200 miles 2 owners in total, 1st owner 10 years. never been in the rain or washed with a power washer. Yoshi dual oval still in the box new, running a Scorpion can. Love it but starting to feel it is heavy as getting trouble with my hands and white finger.
Yep, shes' a minter alright. When it gets too heavy for you, post it over & I'll look after it for ya.
wow !! :smile2:
Nice bike, but then, aren't they all.
Watch this vid, will help with the arms.
I used a 2.5 kilo weight on a piece of dowel.

That's nice!
One of the least molested ones I've seen in a while.
Apart from the can, rad guard and front mudguard extension it looks like it just rolled out of a showroom !
Roger what sort of trouble you having with your hands.
I was getting to the point of carpel tunnel surgery when it was suggested i go and see an osteopath. Well long story made short. Feeling so much better. She said the problem stems from neck and posture.
I used to get poor sleep and woke with numb and painfull hands. Been a panelbeater for over 40 years so hands, arms and shoulders have seen plenty of action.
Hope you get around it so you can enjoy your beautiful bike. :onya:
Same here,
25 years of flogging spanners and big hammers did damage, but Osteopath and some stretching exercises keep me on the bikes.
Well worth it with for the GSX, i've had a few bikes over the years but I've returned to GSX for comfort and fun, magic bike never mind magic carpet !!!
Stay safe,
beekay.
p.s. 14 Hunner ? which part of Scotland you from ? :hat:
That is a very VERY nice looking bike.
In fact it's the first Blue and White I've seen that could even tempt me from the dark side....
amazing clean bike, makes mine look dirty just after a wash. sore, aching hands. yep, had that. 40 odd years of twisting spanners. aching shoulders, crook back, thought i was knackered. first hit at golf on saturday was a painfull experience. arthritus the docs said. just getting old. pins n needles in arms while riding, nearly gave up bikes n golf. my world ended. stretching is one key, do it every chance. my massage lady said, if you dont use n stretch those muscles, they dont work. ive done it religously for ten yrs or more now. can still touch ground with closed fist. still had aching hands etc. magnesium tablets were recod. a miracle. take one tab each day, totally fixed. no more of any of above. i cant believe it, but totally pain free. hands are perfect, can ride forever without any numb bits. give it a search and give it a go. has fixed me. feel better in 60s than i did in 30s. magnesium really works, give it a go
Wowzas :notworthy:
Beautiful :8:

At 41 years old... i have only been a spanner /wrench monkey for 20 years but am on the magnesium tablets too ( 400mg per day) It works for me :boogie: . I didn't want not accept that my symptoms were age related and that i just had to live with it.
With the magnesium:
I can spanner all day lying in the weirdest positions ( i am a maintenance guy) and feel like i can lift the world - like i when was 18. No more cramped hands, feet, hinges and muscle sores.
no
I have always been a cramper. Magnesium does the trick. Used to get shots of mag and pills of course. Hardly ever take them pills now since I have a large daily helping of oats. They are full of magnesium and tons of other good stuff. If I skip them oats I pay.
Yes magnesium for me too. I suffer with cramp. Got taken to hospital with bloody cramp. I was in a bad way. They put IV in and I came good pretty quick.
Scary bit was when they said my vital organs would be cramping too.
Cramp is a bugger !!
OK, here the story of what happend when I didn't eat my oats last time :coffeescreen:
Woke up with both calves cramping. Jumped out of bed to press feet on ground. What worked so well in the past when one calve cramped... well I was dancing like a ballerina on my toes. Just could not get those heels down. No ballerina here, so down I went with my arse landing in a laundry basket and one of my legs wedged beneath the beds side board. With my arse in the basket, it worked like a lever. Got some nice cuts on ankle and lower shin. Too bad I didn't have the video camera set up. Must have looked hilarious. :boogie2:

Hmmmm, I used to get wicked cramps, in all sorts of 'weird' muscles. (not that muscle!) Seems to have abated now to some extent, but if I'm 'on the turps' for a few days (or week) they come back. Might be flushing out all the magnesium?
