Title: Mugello (spoiler)
Post by: VladTepes on Monday, 05 June 2017, 10:41 AM
, but the GP race was an absolute ripper !!!!

Certainly the most entertaining race this year, to date. :)  Great to see so many bikes fighting for the top places.

The Ducatis were carrying excellent speed and a great result in front of the home crowd. Almost a 1,2.
Rossi just missed the podium but an excellent result nonetheless, considering he must have been pretty sore!

Well I'm pissed that I don't have Foxtel or whatever so don't see the support races but I gather that they, especially Moto3, were also excellent.

:wheelie:   :crash:  :lowside:

P.S. What the heck is wrong with you people ! :stir:
There ought to be more MotoGp discussion ! I seem to be the only one starting threads !  :confused1:

Largely due to the bride wanting to watch the Americas Cup we got SKY........so I got to watch the Moto3,2 and GP races live.
Well every race was edge of the seat stuff. The first turn of the last lap of the Moto 3 race looked like the first turn after the start. The leader onto the straight could end up 8th going into the 1st turn, such was the effect of the slipstreaming. Less than 2 seconds covering the entire field at the finish.
Italians winning all of the races. Lots of passing in every race.
Good effort from Rossi after his training crash.
Really enjoyed it, just great racing. :clapping:

Vlad, ive been a gp fan all my life. fairly well educated on it. have watched, read etc since early 70s. not much ive missed. i tried on old org. to have my say. just too difficult. bit like talking oils, tyres, brake pads. decided long ago not to go there. me and mates have lots of talks about it, the racing that is. ill keep it that way.
