Title: My Greek idol
Post by: T 24 on Sunday, 14 May 2017, 04:50 AM
A couple of years ago, when I had already decided to add the turbo to my bike, I found this video from Youtube. After watching it several times I sat for 15 minutes on my bed just thinking "What the f*ck am I doing?..." The behaviour of the bike in the video is very familiar: under 6000 rpm and 0,6 bar it acts just like a normal 14 and after that it totally flips   Just watch and enjoy!

The speedo is off the clock - how the heck can he hold onto it at that speed, it would be pulling my arms out their sockets!

Would be interesting to know what gearing he's using,
And how much is true speed or just wheelspin ?

Either way, it's a monster!  but the clocks don't tell the whole story.
I'm not 100% convinced he's doing "off the clock" speeds.

Not sure why the power comes in so sudden and hard (with the boost)
The turbo bikes I've ridden were a lot more controllable and predictable.
Having 2 stroke characteristics makes for good viewing but its not that clever.
