one the standard red/black bike and emma's black (custom painted) 14's both run standard suzuki systems with the FE spec yoshi cans
the blue/white runs a full akroprovic race system with a tri ovel cut-down stubby can
(full race titainium can for M.O.T.time as quieter) now fitted with a lamdersensor ready for the pcv set up.
you can't hear the exhuast on the bike due to the pod filters but sounds fabulous from what I'm told by others
Gone back partially to standard. Did have SBS headers/collector. And Beowulf short stainless oval. Now OEM downpipes. SBS collector and Beowulf cans. Bit of a mis match - but all works well.
stranded downpipes and collect box but two beowulf cans sounds great and i like the look of two cans :onya:
K2 running a stainless full yoshi cyclone
K3 devil full race system that has now been stubbied,
in the garage:-
Twin stubby 'Blue Flames' with sbs headers and collector (used for touring as the lugagge fits better)
Damaged carbon full yoshi cyclone awaitng spare parts
Twin stainless 'Carbon Can' with original K2 headers & collectors
Various link pipes for playing in the garage when its wet outside
looking for a Black Yoshi cyclone straight classic full system at the right price
Akrapovič - full system stainless steel with carbon silencer
oh and WTF is it with the toffee manifold studs on Suzukis
softest metal known to man
suzuki exhaust studs :whatever:
Nothin.... totally bog standard
Full akrapovic, with cut down carbon akrapovic can... And a yoshimura sticker
Had a few systems on mine, but for the last few year i have, stainless headers, standard collector and Campbell Sidewinder cans. Nice sound.

pics in my thread http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=3.0
What every K5 on should have from the factory.
im sure its just a minor fix and you'll be able to post pics easily.
looks a great bike from what you have posted
i look forward to seeing much more of it .
i like the twin pipe set up but they add so much weight to the bikes.
I've said lots of times here and in other places
its your bike and your choice .

bdo-k9-WFMQ
The vid works fine from the link
And those can look smart next to the Crome rims nice bike
Snapey - you need to post more pics of your bike up, looks a cracker!
You keep your bike nice Snapey.
yes more please more
Akra. Was carbon which was broken, so I purchase replacement titanium sleeve and original repack kit...
now it look like this:
When I still had a 14, I was running twin Beowulf Tri-ovals
I had a Yoshy tri oval fitted when I bought the bike, upgraded the headers to single skinned SBS headers but I wanted the look of twin Yoshy tri ovals.

I recycled Barmy's Beowulfs and fitted Delkevic headers and 4-2 collectors (purchased from ebay.com for less than I could get in Oz or from the UK), the
Delkevic headers stay looking better for me than the SBS headers.

Oooooh, Snapey, i'm drooling, that looks fantastic. :salute:
Standard downpipes and collector but a titanium 2 tone Beowulf can with baffle in, sounds great.
Home made exhaust system: "centrifugal silencer" --> 3" --> 2x2.5" --> 2x2". Nice sound.
Gives better torque than full akra.
No. 1 has standard and No.2 has Carbon Cans
:8:
Stan
Mine has a Yoshi Straight Cyclone.
It`s fukn loud and I love it :)
The only six pack that I have seen in years lol.
SBS SS headers and collector with triple Campbell's. loud with or without the baffles
Full Akro,system with titanium can
Full stainless Yoshi, pc3, Hagon Nitro's, Daytona seat, Vanzuki billet clutch centre and windowed clutch cover, DL1000 handguards, forkbrace and bellypan to add when i get the chance........................
i agree, your bike looks superb Snapey. lots of effort in it. have read your comments but never seen bike before. more pics i also agree with. makes mine look like a pakistani taxi.
Standard headers & collector. Delkevic 350mm Carbon Can. Plenty loud enough for me without taking out the baffle.
What a fantastic location, Aus? nice bike too.
Gp style I fitted the other week.

Yoshimura Cyclone full system (with a dyno mapped PC111 and PAIR blanks)
(https://s28.postimg.org/98we8wub1/image.jpg) (https://postimage.io/) (https://certificity.com)
On various bikes and in my spares pile I also have....
2 x Staintune stainless end cans.
5 x Yoshimura alloy end cans.
1 x unbranded 4 into 1 full system.
3 x standard Suzuki end cans.
I've had the Cobra Hypershots on for Month now and really like them, I used to have a Micron that was vinyl wrapped in Carbon effect.
The Cobra came with chrome link pipe but I sprayed that Black myself
Red
Two Delkevic 350 mm oval

Yoshimura Headers.
Was a Full Yoshi Cyclone system fitted but wanted to revert back to Twin system so, removed at the Sleeve and a custom Y Pipe created that also fits the sleeve. hand made twin splitter pipes into twin 200mm Delkavics. ( i can still in-sleeve and simply slip back on the Cyclone rear end).
Next stage - if i still have the bike - is to polish the hand made pipes and then do away with the rear footrests & hangars.
Stoli
Mine has the duel yoshi .
Standard 4-2, nearly new for 100 €. Thanks to a cop who had put on cans with a bit more "sound" on his 14 :imrgreen:
Stoli, yours look awesome, bet they sound it also. very nice. best ive ever heard were 4 into 2 with beowulf cans, just didnt even sound like a 14, more like a crossplane ferrari, was so good. mine is a boring old 4 into 1 with locally made can. i get told it sounds good, i dont really know. no one else has ever ridden it past me.
Standard 4 into 2 converted by previous owner.
Originally had the god awful bazooka..
Update to this post:
Still the standard twin silencers but they have had baffles removed and been modded to 45mm outlets..
Much more mid to high punch and they sound "Butch" without being Raucous..
Microns on my K2
Shaun
Very nice :onya:
Great looking bike :onya:
Looks great !
With the engine casings that you supplied Seth :hat:
Looking great buddy I do like the black casings .

I must say the Campbells exhaust is one system I DO like..

Lol Notty...
Hi Notty
I will start it up in the garage tomorrow and give it 5000rpm any more than that in there and the tools will jump out of the box
Full Akra from the days it was sold as an R1 can on the end (I've got the receipt from about 2001, long before I got the bike), serial PC3, pairs blanked, other bits you can see and a thin stealth & anti-theft coating.
Twin cambells
Laser rvs downpipes and collector with a Laser Hotcam short....short and lound. Received a db killer with it but can`t here the difference when using it.
Full Akra, can cut by 100mm, PCIII, individual pod filters, Yoshi cams, Dynatek coils plus one or two other bits and pieces ;)
Campbells :) :) :) :) :)
