Hello
Has anyone tried Pastidip, my bike is Blue and White, so naturally looks awesome ;) :stir:
However it's like a red flag to a bull on the roads here, every caged retard and a good few bikers think it's an invitation to race or cut me up.
I'm not joking the retarded mentality on the roads here has to be seen to be believed and every couple of months I swear I'm going to stop riding but the 14 is too good to give up.
So the plan is to make the bike less "bling" without ruining the paintwork.
I'm thinking matt black Plastidip all round.
Red will love that idea Rufus!
Here's an idea, have a sign sewn onto the back of your riding jacket saying "F@#k Off" might help? yeah?
Ha ha, yeah I really have thought of a sign like that but then they would crash into me trying to read it
Have experience with analog of Plastidip, produced by Motip. Did not like it.
Issue is, I use it to paint bikini fairing, and this was a mistake. Because Plastidip and similar, have rather soft surface, insects and dirt penetrate in to it, and it was literally impossible to clean it after some time. Have to admit, I paint it white. With other color, it could be not so bad. But as for me, I decide to use normal paint on my 14.
Also, you have to keep in mind, Plastidip is dissolving by petrol....
Ah, didn't know about the dissolving in petrol bit, thanks for the heads up.
No idea what to do now, maybe urban camo and ride on the pavement :frustrated:

Damn right Col 👍I'm seriously considering Matt Black for next winter, I do like shiny Black though!
Sheesh! What's a man to do???
Keep it shiny,Red. It looks too good as it is.
Or paint it B&W :stir:
If I was riding my 14 on Malta I would want it, and me, wrapped in blown up inner tubes, yes like the Michelin Man. I know the Maltese government are trying to do stuff to sort out the pathetic driving standards there but they still have a long long way to go.

It's crazy but it might just work :clapping:
