Title: Scorpion exhaust...
Post by: Swiss on Monday, 01 May 2017, 05:36 AM
recently purchased a gsx1400, lovely bike that has a few nice mods, especially the scorpion end cans. trouble is they are open and need a small decibel killer/baffle just to put in the end, dont want much of a noise killer, just something that makes it look as if there is a proper baffle in there, anyone have any ideas where i could get a set ?

seen a few generic ones on e bay and wouldnt know which one to buy

any help much appreciated

They all do much the same thing so just make sure the dimensions are correct and buy the cheapest one.

Depending on age of your bike and laws of your country, you may need E-approval in your silencers.

Yep... this really restricts options for those who want to keep twin silencers... the eu is a pain in the ass sometimes... UK has much better approach on aftermarket parts in general.

I'm in the U.K. And they are e marked.  But when working shifts they are loud enough to wake the dead I'll just end up buying cheapo ones of eBay I think
At least I can say then that there is baffles in there and everything is sorted

Thanks

I had Vance and Hines Bigshots on my Kawasaki Meanstreak and were so loud i used to take the car to work as my neighbours complained ( 3 streets away ! ) -  :smile2:
