Just got my renewal quote from Carol Nash,was£113 NOW UP TO £135 Fully comp :confused1: So I gave them a call and was told they would not budge on the price ,friggin drives me mad !!!! .
Went on the mcn compare site and got a quote from mce for £100 :onya: but I've just read on the org that they are terrible to deal with  what do you do :confused1: I read someone on here got fully comp from Bennets for £85 ,do they have their bike locked up with the crown jewels !! Any advice welcome on this confusing insurance lark ???
Forgot to say I always have breakdown cover included !! although I never expect to use it with the great GSX1400 :onya:
we have all 3 bikes with mce mate but never had to claim.
was just over £100 each bike fully comp
MCE - wouldn't touch with a bargepole. I insured mine once with them, cancelled after 10 days after they couldn't tell me what mods I had fitted (which I had read out to them on th ephone and they had charged me for). Then the guy said had I had an accident the bike would have been put back to standard anyway. Friggin hopeless.
I'm with CN at present but will probably be swapping to eBike at my next renewal, CN are starting to get just a little too expensive these days
I have Agreed Value with Bikesure because no one else were interested in all The Mods!! ;)
Coldhands, you got it......Insurance = Lark !!
Try Be-Moto, I just insured with them fully comp with cover for everything on 3 bikes for £252, that's ride someone else's bike, full breakdown, European cover, protected no claims, legal and helmet and leathers cover. That's £84 a bike.
Cheers for reply's will try b moto :onya:
I got my renewal through a couple of days ago, from £106 to £127+£20 arrangement fee(?????) So I rang them, and they wouldnt budge, so onto a comparison site and £127 all in, same cover, all extra's declared, so Bennetts can go whistle.
Insurance here has gone up a lot. Full comp $468.00 plus $500 excess for the 14
But house and contents cover has increased because we seem to have a few floods and earthquakes. Insurance companies dont like them. They are mongrels too. There are some people who didnt accept theiroffer that are still waiting 6 years on for a resolution...... lot of shoddy repairs are now starting to come to.light also.
kja can I ask who you are with now :frustrated:
Where I live my 14 is the only one they have ever insured and it's €500 for the insurance and road licence. 3 times more than my car
Just put some registration on the 14 today.....$136.00 for 3 months.
from memory, around 280 for insurance and 450 for 12 mths rego. glad i dont live in malta.
just had my insurance quote from bennetts gone up from £86 to £106 tried go compare and no insurance quote from anybody will stick with bennetts cant be assed to try any more
Due to the massive increase in bike theft in certain parts of the country, insurance premiums are rocketing up.
I know of a lad in London that had a 125 stolen. When he enquired about insuring a new one his premium had gone from £600 up to £3000.
He gave up riding as a result.
Over the years I've been with usual suspects CN, Bennetts. Been with Yamaha - yes I know odd name for an insurance company. FC, protected full NCD, rural code. £86 all in.
I was with mce never clamed thow but they have a bad reputaion ther is even a face book page moaning about them, they rareley pay out and the google review are shocking am with bennets now
