I was on my way to work tuesday night on my bike when i got to the 2 mini roundabouts and found 4 or 5 police all with lights going and the road blocked off.
looking at the incident i saw a car and a bike which had collided.
at the time i thought bloody car drivers, gone and knocked a poor kid off his bike.
well the road was only opened at 7 the next morning so i thought it must have been a fatality, bloody car drivers.
well ive since found out it WAS a fatality, and yes the car driver was partly to blame, but it wasnt the biker who died, it was the 70 year old guy driving the car.
the biker after getting up dragged the driver out the car and kicked him to death.
it was just outside the boot and shoe pub and people went to stop the biker but it was too late, the old guy died later in hospital.
turns out my work colleage knows of this guy and hes a nutter, drives both cars and bikes like a twat, speeding and such.
i really feel bad for the old guy and his family and just hope that the murdering scum gets locked up for life, but somehow know hell be out in less than 10.
shit like this shouldnt happen.
Jeez that's terrible, heck we all lose our rag at times with other riders / drivers but nothing deserves something like that.

Hanging is a bit too slow, I'd prefer the Guillotine method myself, faster & I get to wear a black hood / helmet!

With our stupid and very lenient laws he will probably get off with a good stern telling off. If two people can kill their child and not get charged with murder :furious:

Reminded me of what happened to a mate of my Dad's a few years ago. He turned left out of a side road, on to a main road in a village, and then within 20m turned right into another side road. As he made the second turn a bike slammed into the drivers door. He was thought to have been killed instantly. This was a car made before side airbags - a Mark 2 Fiesta I think. The front seat passenger was also hurt with at least one broken bone. They had just been to visit the drivers Dad who was in a mental hospital suffering with dementia and were on their way home.
Rumours were that the bike speedo was stuck on 80 mph or that at least the accident investigation people decided that this was about the speed at impact. it was a 30mph zone.
The rider - survived though has no legs anymore.
