I had one of them in 1982, what an awesome machine (at the time). I was getting through 4 tyres and a chainset every year so it had to go, I rode it every day like I stole it, and that costs :lol:
Awesome bikes. Early 80s had one. Unbreakeable, looks like they broke yours.
Did it come with assembly instructions?

Found a tank & cap in very good condition for 61 euros delivered - result :facepalm:
I still have my GSX too, the unfaired ef variety, cant part with it, even though I've not ridden it for a while.
Fairings are for girls anyway :whistling:
Total respect for doing this bike build I'd love to do it but no time or space well done it will be great when your done ✅ :onya:

I think I can help here.
My tip is to only use two different coloured wires, this makes fault finding much easier. If the problem is not in the red wire by process of elimination it
must be the black one that is the problem....
