Title: Kiwifruits 14
Post by: Kiwifruit on Thursday, 13 April 2017, 03:00 PM
This is our K7. It has given us some fantastic times traveling away. Have owned it for coming up to 3 years and have covered nearly 40,000 kms on it much of it 2 up.  It hasn't missed a beat.
Its not modded other than a Yoshi Tri-Oval can. We have set it up so its easy to travel on , racks for luggage, tank bag, heated grips, fly screen and 12v socket.
I look forward to many more k's on it.  :)

Its ours when its clean but mine when its in need of a clean  :onya:

Always nice to see a standard 14, and that's nice!

Nice to see standart 14 what is in use. On the road. Not just "bling bling toy". You drive quite lot. I have driven also 40 000 km, but in four years.

Good on ya Col, she looks the part for touring for sure.  40,000k, that's a lot of k's for this end of the world.

Good to see the bike gets used, I have a similar (but smaller) set of panniers I'm yet to try out. How do you find the tank bag?  Does it get in the way?

I like the tank bag and yes, just have to be mindful on full lock. Never a bother on the open road.
They have a security strap that goes around the steering head. When undone it sits nicely melting on the headers.

Thanks, thinking about a tank bag and will make sure to pay attention to any loose straps :onya:
