So the headlight bulb in my 14 is a "brand new " spare bulb I had lying around from my old 99 ford focus
It's absolutely useless.
My fart gives out more light!!

I'm unsure what decent h4 bulbs there.
What about one of these?

I use the Osram Night Racer, essentially its the Osram Night Breaker but built for motorcycles to take a bit more vibration that may occur

The only difference in the bike and car version is the bike one can handle more vibration?
I see the car one says it has a further distance

I put a LED light in mine, I can nearly see where I'm going at times now.

Are the latest ones quite compact for fitting in the headlamp? I though they did or do require some form of controller which has to be stuffed in there.

I always seen the led bulbs that are an exact replacement of the halogen were pure rubbish?

Direct replacement. They look longer, but the extra bit that forms the controller & cooling fan only takes up the space the multiplug normally does on the back of a H4. You just plug the short loom off them into the normal multiplug & that's it. Oh yeah & I had to adjust my headlight down slightly but that was all.

The light pattern is pretty much the same as a normal bulb, just about four times brighter so I can go faster than a 125 at night.
