Rant!!

I normally take around 20 minutes to get home from the office... today... 55 mins! Why?  Around 80 Lycra clad TDF wannabes on the feckin road.  No escorts, bunched up into 4 groups with only space for 1 car in between each group, and each group riding 4 abreast.  They caused the traffic to back up at least 3km.  Scowls from every one of them when I eventually passed each group.   Of course they own the road don't they! 
Drives me feckin mad that these plonkers pay no attention to their own safety never mind having any consideration for other road users! 
There are loads of well organised rides around here... all have marshals that manage the roads and riders extremely well but this was clearly a club who couldn't be arsed to set the ride up properly... tossers the lot of them!

Heard the same complaint of a biker about a large biker group. He had a hard time getting past them.

Cyclists doing that is worse. No regard for others as well as their own safety.

Idiots come in all sizes and shapes and with all kind of vehicles. Not much we can do about it except ... breathe.

Its a bloody epidemic here in the highlands of Scotland  they bloody moan about cars not giving them enough room !!!.... and they ride 3 or 4 abreast and look at you like sh*t when you try and squeez past them  ....... I'll have to stop now !!!

Same in Surrey. Everyone thinks they are Bradley Wiggins. Last Sunday we had a load of roads closed for most of the day for some big cycling event, Prudential Ride London.

They certainly piss me off as well, it's not as if they even pay for the privilege, no tax, no insurance and if you hit one it's always the motorised vehicles fault and his/her insurance who pays, bastards
