Interesting solution. I'm also struggle with decigion where to put PCV map change switch...

VladTepes

Is it just a standard o/off toggle switch?

In which case can anyone point me to where I could buy the appropriate PLUG to make one of these myself?
(want to do it a bit differently just for shits and giggles)

@VladTepes
Yes, its just an ordinary toggle on/off switch.
Not sure where you'd get the plug from, but they must be available.

That info is on this site already.  2 different plugs depending on the year.

@VladTepes... Have you tried the search function yet?  :rofl2:

Yes what i mean is the actual plug itself not the whole unit. Mines a k7 so i need the later model plug but need brand and model number etc so i can buy one somewhere...

Refurbed Calipers today, completed one but on the other the previous owner had crowbarred an incorrect size dust seal which is now fu--ed so can I buy just dust seals on flea bay?

Went for a splash of colour and couldn't mask off the logo so decided to get rid

Did a 25mile  ride to check if my calliper cleaning expertise was ok - the bike stops much better with them cleaned and new sintered pads - down side is that my my new HealTech Gipro thinks I have no 4th gear and two first gears ! - Gear Position switch faulty?
Anyway was great to get out after the winter  :smile2:
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

@Notty

Strange one with the GiPro...Try running the setup procedure again and see what happens :onya:

Will try that Froudy - Shows 5th gear when I am in 6th but if I tap the gearshift it then shows 6th correctly  :bugga:

Just check that you have set your GiPRO up properly - mine occasionally gave the odd silly reading if I set it for 6 gears, however never had an issue at all after I set it in "L" mode and then "taught" it each gear (the instructions are in the manual)
