This evening I finally fitted my new throttles cables, balanced the throttles bodies and checked the TPS, fitted my new brake discs from Blackshadow and my new dna pod filters (the last lot were fitted in 2009) tomorrow morning test ride previewed

I just finished cleaning the bike.  By my standards at least.  It involved wheel cleaner, detergent, a brush and some elbow grease and a hose.

Barmy would probably call that a "pre-wash":lol:

Haha yep, deep cleaning dies take a while!!

So today I fitted a 2-stage heated rear seat to my Explorer to complement the riders heated seat (have to keep the wife happy!). I always used to think these were a waste of time, but it's surprising how well they work in keeping one warm.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement :lol:

sort of off topic but im sure youll enjoy. once called to a saab that wouldnt go. they waited a while for me to show. 40 degree day, 100 in northern talk. i pulled up and old mate had a chat to me. his wife was sitting in passenger seat. stupid cow hed told me. he had turned on the heated seat she was sitting in. sweat pouring off. just his little joke. i promised not to tell. brilliant stuff.  :rofl2:

Re mounted the dealer mode switch on the helmet lock bracket :rolleyes:
Tried it this way first but didn't like it that the wiring and switch was so prone to getting covered in crap up under the back end :furious:


Turned the whole lot around..Still not 100% happy with it but at least it can be operated without having to remove the ignition key and taking the seat off now :imrgreen:
