Well I haven't been here for a while but I'm still around 👍
Well as the 14 is my daily the seat skin started to tear and I had duct tape holding it together so I gave her an early Christmas present and put on a new seat skin......
I hope she likes it 🤣
Any how off to the pub now for dinner so I'll be back to catch up soon 👍

A match will do the trick 

Friend of mine (at age 15) spilled petrol when cleaning carburator. A match cleaned it up nicely. He enjoyed the comics I brought him to the hospital where he spent a few weeks.

Replaced one of the angle (ball) joints of the gearshift lever linkage. The rivet type mounting had become loose. The replacement is the M6 in the attached pic. Got it in SS with dust cap.

Ask the previous owner. Have heard of several cases.

Here is an extreme case.

Gear linkage rose joints broke - pins sheared off both ends one at a time at maybe 120k kms and 145k kms or so. Rode home both times with it in 2nd gear - bit noisy on the freeway!!! Maybe I've just got a heavy foot...

Nah mate just straight over the factory foam as I've had here since new and have clocked just over 80000kms so far as the seat is nicely worn in now so why mess with a good thing 😎
