Engine doesn't sit right in frame ...

Hi folks,

First time poster, long time lurker, I was hoping you might be able to help. We have recently put tohether a GSX 1400 using a donor frame and have noticed that the engine does not appear to sit quite right in the frame. It looks like the engine sites more over to the right (if viewed from the top)

The best way to visualise this is if you look at the engine top down with the tank off the right hand coil bracket sits 10 mm away from the centre of the oil pipe which connects to the head. On other bikes the coil pack bracket lines up exactly centre with this pipe. It is visually off.

This does not appear to be normal. I can only assume this is down to some sort of bent frame, however, is it concievable that there is some sort of installation issue with the engine ? All bolts are in and line up however it was a struggle to get the engine in.

Any thoughts or views appreciated.
