FORUM HAS BEEN UPGRADED (thread retitled)

Well, that's the plan anyway.

Make sure you know your password so you can log back in, post the upgrade.

Outage will likely be a couple of hours.

Once upgraded forum is open again, some features may not work straightaway but will gradually come on line as I reinstall them.

and also I will update the facebook page for those who look there.

The like button is there, its a native part of the new software. Just under the post and above signature.

Working for me, such a genius Vlad, all praise. So bloody clever. 

While that's true - the credit belongs largely to lesmond - a great friend of the forum - who was instrumental in
1. Designing the new theme; and
2. Handling the tricky parts of the changeover to the new version of the software, which involved some database stuff a bit beyond my (imaginary) 'pay grade'.

I had considered just doing it in black but on this forum imagine the complaints from the blue and blue/white brigade!

Country flags is a problem - its not compatible with the new software, or at least not yet. Perhaps in due course.

You'll all probably note some things not there or working as expected - do let me know if anything crops up, so I can attend to it.
