Weather hasn't been conducive to a thrash around the 'mountains' as yet but I'm sure it'll do the job.

Dave reckons my front sprocket was (and I guote) "The worst I've ever seen"
It was indeed very loose on the shaft, t'was flopping around like a dick in hat.

The dramatic driveline clunk has disappeared now

As for the rear sprocket carrier bearing - I didn't end up getting it replaced it was in immaculate condition.

Good job Vlad. Bet it rides lots better. Now keep that chain clean n lubed. Will last forever. What chain brand? Every 2 or 3 k, wd40 or brake cleaner, wipe it off, then gear oil with oil can.Spin that wheel many times, wipe it off. Wipe bike clean after 20 or 30ks. Job done. VMX Castrol is brilliant, no smell. I put old sheet under bike when doing, no mess. No adjustment on mine for a long time.
