How To Stop your mirrors spinning around on the move

No special tools needed at all. The mirror is on a tapered spigot and uses spring tension to stop the rotation. The ONLY tool needed is a 17mm open end spanner.

Loosen the nut at the base of the mirror, remove the spanner, rotate the mirror one turn anti-clockwise, and tighten the nut whilst holding the mirror. The mirror can now be set in the desired position.
In the very unlikely situation the mirror still moves, then you can increase the spring tension by tightening the nut under the plastic cap. This spring tension is set at the factory, but it's the person assembling the bike that doesn't understand the design principle and puts them on wrong.
